Hi 😊 Needing tips with slippery chrome poles. I’m struggling to sit on the pole without sliding down and won’t even try an outside leg hang with no hands. I’ve tried shaving cream but still seem to slide down. Thanks, Eunice x

Which country are you in? Sometimes if the pole it too cold and the legs are dry is like having paper on paper, super sliddy. Best thing to do is either heat the pole with a room heater or hair dryer... but even better if fixing your skin with a product that allows the right kind of moisture. I live in the UK and use a product from Boots called “Glycerin and Rosewater” I apply it after the shower. If I use it before class I put it on a face towel or cotton pad and rub it harshly into my skin and then apply a cheap chalk over it to help speed up the drying process. This will allow some friction to the pole and your skin. If you’re not in the UK you can buy DewPointe of a product similar, the main ingredient is Glycerin, it acts as a gripping agent and also lightly moisturises the skin.
